    Wave Rider

One of the oldest rides of the HANSA-PARK still makes its rounds and becomes the true facade scraper. The Wave Rider has been in the park for 40 years now. 30 of them at its current location, in front of the depot, in the north-western part of the park. Before that, the ride was on a central square where the Holstein Tower now stands. Despite his green livery, he was seen from the main entrance due to the young trees and plants. In late 1986, the wave rider finally moved.

The Bremen-based manufacturer HUSS offers with its ride type Troika an interesting mix of break dancers and uphill ride. The three lifting arms, each equipped with 7 gondolas in a circle, reach a height of 9 meters at the outermost edge of the radius of motion. The jibs reach a lifting angle of 40°. The gondolas rotate together in a counterclockwise direction, while the middle section moves at approximately the same speed in the opposite direction. This creates the eponymous wave motion. Each gondola holds up to 2 people, and some are equipped with child seats.
