    Nessie

A veritable monster is this steel structure, which has been teaching the guests of HANSA-PARK fear for 30 years and has long since achieved cult status. Under the direction of the German roller coaster manufacturer Anton Schwarzkopf this unique piece was constructed and set up as a "monster from HANSALAND" in Sierksdorf. A similar layout was later shipped to South America, but without looping.

    Nessie

Leisurely, the prehistoric monster meanders through sandy dunes and dense scrub. Rarely does she show her gruesome face, and if that happens, it would be better to go elsewhere. Otherwise you will end up in the deep throat of Nessie.

Nessie is from the type designation a Looping Racer and the first permanently installed looping roller coaster in Germany. At about 79 kilometers per hour, the train thunders through the 18 meter high loop. Remarkable is the driving feeling. Nessie is one of the few remaining in the world available looping tracks that do without shoulder bars. This conveys a high sense of freedom and weightlessness. That's what makes Nessie special.

    Nessie

Since 1980, Nessie has lost none of its charm. In addition to the smooth operation, the CEO's attention is also on the well-groomed vegetation through which the train sweeps. This gives all the more the home of a monster.

Unforgettable and not to miss is the final spurt, where you fall into the predatory mouth of the monster. Eyes closed and through it. The final brakes were enclosed in a tunnel and provided with light effects. So that you get the feeling to be in the middle of Nessie. Then you finally made it.

And one thing is clear: Nessie can not be tamed.
