The wave swing ride of HANSA-PARK comes from the manufacturer Wood-Design from the Netherlands, and impresses with a colorful theme with many picture portraits of famous European Hanseatic cities.

Swing Rides have been a familiar companion on German fairs and fairgrounds since the first decade of the 20th century. 1908 one of the first swing rides opened in Oklahoma, California, under the name "Flying Swing". The passengers sit in chairs, which are mounted with chains on a turntable. 1972 premiered the first wave swing under the leadership of Franz Schwarzkopf and the Bavarian company Zierer.
