    Rio Dorado

Yo-ho pirates! Ironically, you've joined the wildest pack in the northern hemisphere, and are now on a pirate ship with Störtebecker and his men. Equipped with a rafting dinghy, wind and spin through the straits, looking for gold and adventure.

    Rio Dorado

One of the largest facilities at HANSA-PARK promises wet eyes. The castle system beautifully addresses the area. Peppered with water-spraying cannons Störtebeckers Kaperfahrt also provides a feast for the ones left on the shore. Inside the fortress, you find yourself in a large covered courtyard, where you get into the air-pumped rafting boats. Conveyors carry you through a 70 meter long tunnel to the highest point. From there you are released into the winding foothills of the canal. Frictional mats in the corners instigate the boats to turn, making it even more effective in a crowded boat. After the winding ride in the canal you slip into an artificial river, where you can enjoy the leisurely part of the ride, and let yourself be rocked a bit.

    Rio Dorado Rio Dorado

This spinning rapids ride was built by White Water West. The highest point of the facility is 20 meters, which can be reached via a 70 meter long tunnel. Typical for this attraction is a round trip at the end of the slide, with a drop of 6 meters. Altogether, the boats drive through 213 meters of track until they arrive back at the beginning.

In the summer of 2000, the complex was officially opened under the name of Rio Dorado and offered a stimulating ambience with the Fort Alamo. With the transformation of the subject area to the realms of the North, the management decided to adapt the Rio Dorado, and announced in the winter of 2017 to rename the facility in Störtebeckers Kaperfahrt.

Shop "Buenos Dias" Shop "Buenos Dias" At the exit is a small dealer booth, where after the opening of Rio Dorado driving photos were sold under the title "Buenos Dias", which were shot shortly before the big drop. A few years later, however, the photographic equipment was dismantled and the shop rarely opens its booth on busy days to sell souvenirs and ice cream.
